Fortescue commits to no voluntary offsets at UNGA as it ramps up industry leading decarbonisation plan

During Climate Week at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), Fortescue will announce that from this financial year onwards it will no longer buy carbon offsets.

New York has been alive with UNGA activity: rickshaws, drone shows, world leaders and movie star activism. Fortescue has found a special place at this policy making event. UNGA provides a unique forum for multilateral discussion and is an important platform for Fortescue to demonstrate its leadership in the green energy transition on a global stage.
