Built where solar works hardest

The Pilbara was made for solar.

High irradiance. Clear skies. Space to build at scale.

And the economics have changed. Since 2010, solar costs have fallen by around 90%, making renewable power one of the most affordable ways to generate energy.

So we’re not waiting.

We’re using one of the world’s best solar resources to cut emissions and costs at the same time.

Powering our operations today

We’re not building solar somewhere else and calling it progress.

We’re putting it to work in our operations.

At North Star Junction, a 100MW solar farm is already powering Iron Bridge, supplying around a quarter of the site’s electricity.

This takes upfront investment. Good. That’s how you replace a fuel system that is volatile, expensive, transported thousands of kilometres and outside our control.

Across the Pilbara, we’re replacing diesel at the source - powering mines, operations and infrastructure with solar built where the work happens.

Scaling what works

This isn’t rooftop solar with a hard hat.

This is solar built for heavy industry.

Across our operations, multiple projects are already generating hundreds of megawatts of power, with more underway.

At Solomon, a 440MW solar project - one of the largest in Western Australia - anchors the next phase of scale.

Together, we’re building toward around 1.5GW of solar capacity across our operations.

Not for show.

To run our operations.

Each project adds capacity. Together, they build the system.

Engineered for the Pilbara

This is solar built for real operating conditions.

High heat. High demand. Continuous operations.

Our solar infrastructure is designed to perform in the Pilbara, with panels that track the sun through the day to maximise output and improve performance.

That power feeds directly into the Green Grid, where it can be stored, moved and used across our operations.

That’s how solar stops being just generation.

It becomes industrial power - reliable, connected and built to run 24/7.
